Yes. I cover the full A-level Mathematics course and Further Mathematics, including the optional papers for your specification. Share your exam board, chosen papers and examination year so we can plan around the course you are actually taking.

AQA, Edexcel, OCR A and OCR B (MEI). Further Mathematics options and paper combinations vary, so please include your specification or paper codes if you have them.

Yes. We can focus on one difficult area or plan a sequence across both subjects. Where a Further Mathematics topic relies on earlier ideas, we can strengthen those foundations first. A four-lesson block has an agreed focus; it does not guarantee completion of a whole topic.

Yes, following an initial consultation. Please tell me whether you take Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation, your SL or HL level, and examination year. We will confirm the scope of support before lessons are booked.

Yes. We can work on the decisions that a worked solution often hides: what to notice, how to choose a method, and what to try if the first approach fails. You will practise explaining those decisions as well as carrying out the calculations.

Yes. We can identify the specific skills holding you back, such as rearranging, factorising or handling fractions, and practise them within your current A-level topics. The aim is to make your present work more accessible while rebuilding fluency.

Yes. A-level Mathematics includes Statistics and Mechanics. Further Mathematics can include further applied options, including Decision or Discrete Mathematics, depending on your board and selected papers. We will use your exact course to set the focus.

Yes. We can practise starting from the information given, making justified steps and presenting a complete argument. We will distinguish evidence from proof and check that the reasoning establishes what the question asks.

We can work on the calculator functions relevant to your questions, interpreting outputs and checking whether an answer is reasonable. Tell me your calculator model and bring it to lessons. Permitted models and exam requirements should be checked against your course guidance.

Yes. Your recent work and exam dates help us prioritise gaps, longer questions and timed practice. We can develop precision and independence as well as topic knowledge. A target grade gives us direction, but no particular result can be guaranteed.

Lessons are live, one-to-one video sessions lasting 60 minutes, taught personally by Joshi. You will need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet, paper, a pen and your calculator. Share your exam board and any recent questions or marked work you would like to discuss. Joining instructions are provided before the lesson.

That depends on your goals, starting point and the time available for independent practice. You can begin with one 60-minute lesson at £90, or choose four lessons for £300 (£75 per lesson). We will discuss a suitable focus and scheduling before you commit; a four-lesson block is not a promise to finish a topic.

It is a 30-minute video consultation to discuss your course, current challenges and goals, and decide whether tuition is a good fit. Parents are welcome to join. It is a consultation rather than a teaching lesson, and there is no obligation to book.

No. We agree realistic priorities and review your work as lessons progress. Outcomes depend on your starting point, the time available and the practice you do alongside tuition.
