Meet Joshi.
I’m Dhawal Joshi—known to my students as Joshi or DJ. I teach Physics and Maths with an emphasis on understanding, thoughtful problem-solving and clear communication.
Over more than 20 years, I’ve taught in sixth forms, colleges and private tuition, working with students individually and in groups. My experience includes A-level, IB and AP teaching.
At Spacetime Education, you work directly with me. I take time to understand how you think, explain the ideas behind a method, and help you apply them independently.
For parents, that means a consistent teacher who knows your child’s work and can explain what needs attention next.

Check the code is applied before booking. One credit covers one lesson, with no additional lesson payment.
Package holders: use your code for each lesson booking. Without a valid credit applied, the individual lesson costs £90. If you expected to use a credit but see a payment request, check your code and balance before proceeding. Buying a package does not reserve dates: schedule each lesson separately, subject to availability.
Once your appointment is booked, expect two emails.

Acuity sends your appointment details first, including links to change or cancel your booking, subject to the booking terms.

Your classroom joining email
Usually within a few minutes, a separate email from Spacetime Education arrives with your Lessonspace joining button. Keep this email.

Join at your booked time
Open the classroom email and click the joining button. “Your session is ready” means the link is available; your appointment starts at the time you booked.
Your tutor. Your classroom. You and the same tutor use the same dedicated Lessonspace classroom for your sessions together. If you work with another tutor, you’ll have a separate classroom with them. Your package code is for booking; your joining button is for entering the classroom.

What happens in the free Grade Roadmap call?
We’ll spend 30 minutes on a video call discussing the student’s course, current challenges and goals. You can ask questions, hear how I would approach the tuition and decide whether it feels like a good fit. This is a consultation rather than a teaching lesson, with no obligation to book.
Who will teach the lessons?
Every lesson in this offer is taught personally by me, Joshi. You’ll work with the same teacher throughout, so we can build on what you’ve learned and keep a clear view of your progress.
How do online lessons work?
Lessons are live, one-to-one video sessions lasting 60 minutes. We work through explanations, examples and questions together. You’ll need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet, and somewhere comfortable to work. Joining instructions are shared before your lesson.
Do I need to buy a block to get started?
No. You can start with an individual 60-minute lesson at £90. If you would like a sequence of lessons, a four-lesson block costs £300. We’ll agree the focus and discuss scheduling and booking terms before you commit.
Can you help with IB Physics or Mathematics?
Yes, following an initial consultation. Please tell me your subject, course, level and examination year so we can confirm the appropriate support before booking lessons.
Can a parent join the introductory call?
Yes. Parents are welcome to join, and we can also begin with a parent-only conversation. If the student joins, it’s a useful opportunity to hear what they find difficult and what they would like to achieve.
