Meet Your Spacetime Tutors

A small specialist team of tutors and educators guiding students from GCSE through A-Level – and beyond – with calm, structured, exam-focused support.

Every educator at Spacetime works within the same Blueprint: diagnostics, clear packages, and lessons engineered to move grades.

How Our Educators Work

Every student is different – but the way our educators run lessons is consistent.

Every Spacetime educator:

  • Follows a diagnostic-first approach, so they understand your child’s starting point before they dive into teaching.

  • Works inside structured lesson packages, not random one-off sessions.

  • Teaches with an exam-board lens – AQA, Edexcel, OCR and others – so examples and practice questions match the real papers.

  • Gives honest, calm feedback about what’s improving and what still needs work.

  • Keeps one eye on the bigger journey from GCSE to A-Level and post-18 options, not just the next test.

Lead Educator: Dhawal Joshi (Qualified Teacher)

Specialist in A-Level Physics & Maths with over 20 years of post-16 and post-18 teaching experience.

Subjects:

  • A-Level Physics

  • A-Level Mathematics

  • IB Physics & Maths

  • AP Physics & Maths

  • GCSE Maths

Background:
Dhawal has been teaching for more than two decades, mainly in sixth forms, colleges and one-to-one as well as group settings. Alongside UK A-Levels he has taught IB and AP programmes, so he knows what high-level study really demands beyond school exams.

He specialises in:

  • Helping students make the jump from GCSE to A-Level in Maths and Physics.

  • Moving students from C/D to B/A and A/A* when there is enough time and honest effort.

  • Building the depth of understanding that supports university and post-18 study, not just a single exam series.

Teaching style:

  • Calm, structured and direct – no drama, no over complication.

  • Explains concepts in plain language first, then shows how they appear in real exam questions.

  • Asks students to talk through their thinking so they can see exactly where it goes wrong and how to fix it.

  • Balances challenge with support – pushing when needed, but always human about the stresses of GCSEs and A-Levels.

Many students describe lessons as “the first time it made sense” or “the only time I felt I could ask questions without feeling stupid”.

The Spacetime Educator Team

Alongside Dhawal, Spacetime is built around a small team of qualified teachers and specialist educators, covering GCSE Maths & Science (Combined and Separate) and A-Level sciences. Each one brings strong subject knowledge, experience with real exam groups, and a calm, exam-focused teaching style. All of them work within the same Spacetime Blueprint.

Ved M. (Qualified Teacher)

About Ved:
Ved is a qualified teacher with experience across GCSE and A-Level classes. He is known for breaking tricky Physics and Science ideas into clear visual explanations, then backing them up with exam-style questions. Students who feel “okay in class but lost in tests” often benefit from his steady, step-by-step approach.

Subjects taught:

  • A-Level Physics

  • GCSE Science
    (Combined & Separate)

  • GCSE Maths

Riddhi K. (Qualified Teacher)

Subjects taught:

  • A-Level Physics

  • A-Level Chemistry(Coming Soon)

  • A-Level Biology(Coming Soon)

About Riddhi:
Riddhi specialises in A-Level sciences. She helps students join the dots between topics so they can handle longer, mixed questions and practical-style exam items. Her focus is on turning memorised facts into real understanding – especially important for students aiming for strong grades in science-heavy A-Level combinations.

Panisha A.

About Panisha:
Panisha supports younger students who are building the foundations for future GCSE success. Her work with KS3 Maths prepares students for a smoother start to GCSE, and she will soon be adding GCSE English to help with reading, writing and exam responses as students move into Key Stage 4.

Subjects taught:

  • KS3 Maths

  • GCSE Maths

  • GCSE English(Coming soon)

Saurabh Y. (Qualified Teacher)

About Saurabh:
Saurabh is a qualified educator focused on GCSE Science. He specialises in helping students who feel overwhelmed by the volume of Physics, Chemistry and Biology content – whether they are taking Combined (Trilogy) or Separate/Triple Science. Lessons are structured around key ideas, then tied directly to exam questions so that all three sciences start to feel more manageable and less random.

Subjects taught:

  • A-Level Physics

  • GCSE Science
    (Combined & Separate)

  • GCSE Maths

Growing slowly, on purpose.
As demand grows, new educators will be added gradually to make sure the quality, style and structure stay consistent with the Spacetime Blueprint.

Supporting Students
from GCSE to A-Level – and Beyond

Spacetime isn’t just about “extra help” for the next test. Our educators think in terms of the whole journey:

  • GCSE → A-Level: making sure core ideas in Maths and Science are solid enough that the step up in Year 12 doesn’t feel like a cliff edge.

  • A-Level → Post-18: teaching in a way that genuinely prepares students for university STEM courses, apprenticeships and other routes – not just one exam paper.

Whether your child is in Year 9 or Year 13, the same principles apply: clear explanations, exam-board-matched practice, and a structured plan for how to use their time well.

Safeguarding & Professionalism

You’re trusting us with your child’s time, energy and confidence – that’s not taken lightly.

  • Educators work within clear safeguarding guidelines for online tuition.

  • Lessons take place in a structured online environment with appropriate boundaries.

  • Communication with parents is kept respectful, clear and professional.

  • Students are encouraged to ask questions and be honest about what they’re finding hard, without ever being mocked or belittled.

If you ever have a concern, you’ll always have a direct way to raise it and get a straight, timely response.

Which Educator Will My Child Work With?

In many cases – especially for A-Level Maths and Physics – your child will work directly with Dhawal as lead educator.

For GCSE and other subjects, we will:

  • Match your child with an educator based on subject, exam board, year group, personality fit and current availability.

  • Make sure you know who they’ll be working with, what their background is, and when they have space before lessons begin.

  • Keep all educators working within the same Spacetime Blueprint, so the experience stays consistent even if we need to adjust timetables later.

Sometimes a particular educator may not have suitable slots free straight away. In that case, we’ll be honest about it and either:

  • Suggest the next-best fit who is available, or

  • Discuss waiting-list options if you prefer to hold out for a specific educator.

In your Grade Roadmap Meeting, we’ll talk through who is the best fit, who is available, and how we can structure lessons around your child’s schedule.

Is Spacetime the Right Fit for You?

The best way to see whether Spacetime is right for your child is to talk. In a free Grade Roadmap Meeting, you’ll:

  • Discuss your child’s current grades and goals.

  • Get a realistic view of what’s possible in the time you have.

  • Hear who we recommend from the team and how we’d approach their situation.

If it feels like a good fit, we’ll suggest a sensible starting package. If not, you’ll still leave with clarity and next steps.
