Book a Free Online Grade Roadmap Meeting

A clear, honest conversation about where your child is now, where they need to be – and how to use the time left in the smartest possible way.

No free trial lessons, no vague promises – just a structured 20–30 minute online meeting to decide whether Spacetime is the right fit.

Who Is This For?

This call is for you if:

  • Your child is in Year 9–11 (GCSE) or Year 12–13 (A-Level) and you’re worried about grades, confidence or both.

  • You feel like you’ve tried “more revision” or even tutoring before, but can’t see a clear plan.

  • You want someone to look at the whole picture – grades, exam board, time left, stress levels – and tell you what’s realistic.

  • You prefer straight, grown-up answers over vague reassurance.

It’s also useful if you’re trying to decide between:

  • Topic Mastery vs Exam Accelerator vs Full Mastery,

  • One-to-one support vs future group sessions or courses,

  • Or whether tutoring is even the right move at all.

What We’ll Do in Your Grade Roadmap Meeting

In your 20–30 minute online meeting, a Spacetime educator will:

  1. Listen and gather context

    • Current year group and exam board

    • Recent grades, reports or mock results

    • How your child feels about the subject and upcoming exams

  2. Identify the real bottlenecks

    • Content gaps vs exam technique vs confidence

    • How much time is realistically left before key exams

    • Other pressures (health, other subjects, school changes)

  3. Sketch a realistic grade roadmap

    • Where your child is now

    • Where they want or need to be

    • A realistic range of outcomes in the time available

  4. Recommend next steps

    • Whether a Topic Mastery, Exam Accelerator or Full Mastery package makes sense

    • Rough number of lessons and ideal pace

    • Whether Spacetime is a good fit – and if not, what to consider instead

You’re free to take that roadmap and think, compare or do something else with it. There’s no obligation to book a package.

What You’ll Leave the Call With

By the end of the meeting, you should have:

  • Clarity on why your child is struggling – content, exams, confidence or a mix.

  • A realistic sense of what can be achieved given the time left and their starting point.

  • A suggested package and time frame (for example, a short Topic Mastery block or a longer Full Mastery programme).

  • An understanding of costs and payment options – including when instalments make sense for larger packages.

  • A chance to ask any last questions about packages, cancellations, recordings or safeguarding.

If it doesn’t feel like the right match, you still leave with a clearer picture than when you arrived.

What This Call Is Not

To keep expectations clear:

  • It is not a free trial lesson

We don’t do “try a random hour and see” because it rarely leads to meaningful decisions.

  • It is not a hard sell

You won’t be pressured to sign up on the spot. We’ll explain what we’d do, what it costs, and then it’s your decision.

  • It is not a magic wand

We can’t promise specific grades without time, effort and engagement. We can tell you honestly what seems realistic and what would be required to get there.

How to Get the Most Out of Your Meeting

You don’t need to do anything fancy – but a few things really help:

  • Recent school information

    • Latest report, mock results or predicted grades

    • Any school comments you feel matter (“works hard but…”, “lacks confidence”, etc.)

  • Sample work if possible

    • A past paper or homework your child found difficult

    • A test they underperformed in

  • Your questions

    • Anything you’re worried about

    • Questions about packages, instalments, cancellations, recordings or group options

If your child is comfortable, it’s often helpful if they join the call, even for part of it. If not, we can talk parent-only first.
