1. About us
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the services provided by Spacetime Education Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and your use of our website.

By using our website, booking a Grade Roadmap Meeting or purchasing tuition, you agree to these Terms.
2. Our services
We provide online education services including (but not limited to):
1-to-1 tuition at KS3, GCSE/IGCSE, A-Level, IB, AP and related levels
Structured programmes (e.g. Topic Mastery Packs, Exam Accelerators, Full Mastery Programmes, Exam Labs, Catch-Up & Confidence Builders)
Free Grade Roadmap Meetings and related consultations
Occasional group classes or courses (if/when offered)
Details of specific programmes, including lesson counts and expiry windows, are provided on our website and/or booking pages at the point of purchase.
3. Booking & formation of contract
A contract between you and Spacetime Education Ltd is formed when:
You book and pay for a package, programme or PAYG lesson through our booking and payment system, and
We send you a confirmation email or message.
Grade Roadmap Meetings are free and do not create an obligation to purchase tuition. The information and recommendations given in a Grade Roadmap Meeting are for guidance; any decision to purchase is entirely yours.
4. Who is the “client”?
In most cases:
The client is the parent/guardian who makes the booking and payment.
The student is the child/young person receiving tuition.
Where a student is over 18 and books/pays directly, the student will be treated as the client.
References to “you” or “your” in these Terms generally mean the client.
5. Fees, payment & pricing
Current prices for packages, programmes and PAYG lessons are shown on our booking pages at the time of purchase.
Fees are payable in advance via our approved payment methods (e.g. card payment via Stripe or similar).
For larger programmes, staged payments or instalment plans may be offered at our discretion and subject to agreed terms.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Changes will not affect bookings already paid for, but will apply to future purchases.
6. Cancellations, rescheduling & refunds
Our cancellation, rescheduling and refund rules are set out in detail in our Cancellations & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:
We operate a 24-hour notice period for cancelling or rescheduling lessons.
Late cancellations and no-shows are normally treated as used lessons and are non-refundable.
If an educator cancels at short notice, we will provide a free extra lesson as a goodwill gesture.
Packages have defined expiry windows, after which unused lessons are forfeited.
Refunds for part-used packages are not normally offered, but in some cases we may provide credit or flexibility at our discretion.
By booking with us, you agree to follow the Cancellations & Refunds Policy in force at the time of your booking.
7. Your responsibilities
To help us support the student effectively, you agree to:
Provide accurate information about the student’s year group, subjects, exam boards and goals.
Inform us of any relevant learning needs, health or SEN information that could affect learning or safety.
Ensure the student attends lessons on time and in a suitable environment (quiet, safe and appropriate for online learning).
Ensure tuition fees are paid on time according to the agreed schedule.
Follow our safeguarding and online safety guidance, including supervision expectations for younger students.
8. Our responsibilities
We will:
Provide tuition and support with reasonable care and skill.
Aim to match students with suitable educators based on subject, level, availability and other relevant factors.
Provide programmes that are coherent, structured and aligned with the stated aims (e.g. content coverage, exam technique focus).
Communicate clearly about lesson times, programme structure and any changes that may affect you.
Take safeguarding and data protection seriously, following our Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy and Privacy & Cookie Policy.
9. No guarantees of specific grades
We work hard to help students improve, but:
We cannot guarantee specific exam results or grade improvements.
Final outcomes depend on multiple factors beyond our control, including prior attainment, health, school provision, exam conditions, and the student’s own effort and engagement.
We will always aim to give you an honest view of what seems realistic and what is required to substantially improve performance, but we do not make performance guarantees.
10. Use of lesson recordings and materials
Where lessons are recorded (for review, quality or safeguarding):
Recordings remain the property of Spacetime Education Ltd.
Access to recordings may be provided to students/parents for private study only and for a limited period.
You agree not to:
Share lesson recordings publicly or with third parties without our written permission.
Copy, sell or distribute our teaching materials, resources or recordings for commercial purposes.
11. Acceptable use of our website
When using our website, you agree not to:
Use it for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable or impair the site.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, server or related systems.
Copy or reuse substantial parts of our content for commercial purposes without written consent.
We may block or restrict access to the site if we believe misuse is occurring.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or
Any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
Subject to the above, we will not be liable for:
Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss (including loss of opportunity, grades, or educational placement)
Any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. internet outages, platform failures, illness, extreme weather, exam board changes)
Our total liability to you in connection with any services provided, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, will not exceed the total amount you have paid to us for the specific programme or package giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes to programmes, tutors or schedule
We reserve the right to:
Adjust programme content or sequencing where we believe it will better serve the student’s needs.
Change or substitute educators where required (e.g. illness, timetable changes, staff changes). We will always aim to maintain continuity and quality.
Change lesson times by mutual agreement, or in rare cases reschedule where unavoidable; in such cases we will provide reasonable notice and alternatives.
14. Data protection & privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

15. Safeguarding & conduct
We are committed to safeguarding and child protection. Our approach is set out in our Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We reserve the right to:
Pause or terminate tuition if we believe a student, parent or third party is behaving in a way that is abusive, threatening or unsafe for educators or other students.
Take appropriate action, including contacting relevant authorities, if safeguarding concerns arise.
16. Termination of services
You may end tuition at any time by informing us in writing. The Cancellations & Refunds Policy will determine whether any credit or rearrangement is possible.
We may end tuition or refuse further bookings where, for example:
Fees are not paid
There are repeated no-shows or very frequent last-minute cancellations
There are safeguarding or conduct concerns
We reasonably believe we are no longer the right provider for the student’s needs
Where possible, we will discuss this with you first and, where appropriate, signpost alternative options.
17. Third-party services
We use third-party platforms (e.g. scheduling, video, payment, analytics) to deliver our services. While we cannot control the availability of these platforms, we will:
Choose reputable providers
Take reasonable steps to minimise disruption if a platform fails or changes
If disruption occurs, we will work with you to rearrange affected lessons or provide alternative access where reasonably possible.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, legal requirements or internal policies.
The “Last updated” date will be shown at the top of the page.
Material changes will normally apply only to new bookings made after the updated Terms are published.
If you continue to use our services after changes take effect, you are deemed to have accepted the revised Terms.
